Though, I’m not too sure what exactly I would be willing to give up, it definitly would not be root, or any variant of a root. (i.e. Ubuntu)

What was it, Linspire does not have root? Or gives full root access to regular users? I can’t exactly give a confirmation if this is true, I have the disc of Linspire 5, but I have no motivation to install it, if it is true, then *hiss*. Killing root, would kill Linux reputation.
