I agree. Every citizen of every country should be able to view these documents, regardless of what operating system or viewing software they are using. There needs to be a universal standard for this sort of thing.

Regarding the Microsoft ‘might’ include OpenDocument functionality story, I noticed this project, which may make any and all of Microsoft’s efforts in this regard a moot point. Yet another way to leverage open source efforts!

I’m using Linux but can’t say that Windows is useless thing. 20 years is a great term and will hope that Vista will put some point for this term
