After doing some testing and talking a bit more with Doug (who has been a huge help) it appears that a Skype-only system may not be able to give us the quality and reliability that I was hoping for. I’m going to take a few days to think about how to proceed, but I’d be interested to hear what feedback other have. Thanks.

Thanks to Doug from IT Conversations I have a very good idea of where I was going wrong with the current LQ Radio setup. The good news is I wasn’t too far off. I’ll be off to the store a little later to buy one more piece of equipment. Hopefully I’ll have another update for you later. Also, the intro should be recorded tomorrow, so things are coming along nicely.

Been a bit Quiet
You may have noticed that I’ve been a bit quieter than usual. I’ve been putting quite a bit of time …
Jeremy,
I’m sorry to hear the Skype setup isnt working. I joined a chat last week on the linux link tech show and it worked great. I’m here in the UK and those guys are across the pond in the U.S. but even so there was no lag and they could hear me just fine. You said you’ve been in contact with linc about setting up the show previously – perhaps further discussion with him may help?
I don’t even have a clue how to get this. What program is needed to hear/watch it? Setup?
If you just want to listen to the show, any MP3 or OGG player will do. If you want to have the Podcast automatically downloaded, I’d recommend bashpodder.

This is very GOOD idea IMHO :)
