Sorry to be a Nudnik, but having grown accustomed to your usually impeccable diction, I was disappointed to hear you pronounce “benevolent” as “benelovent”. I am being picky I know, but couldn’t resist mentioning it.
Thanks for the feedback. Was a bit tired during this one – I think if you listen hard enough you’ll find about 3 of these. As you can tell – I don’t do much post-production editing on these. You get exactly what I say, warts and all.

I can certainly understand. I appreciate your work very much and hope you continue for some time to come.
Itunes shows the last show 2.9.2007 in mp3 format at +3db level and the 2.1.2007 at +1.7 and the worst was 1.24.2007 at +6 … always try to get them closer to 0db as + anything is over in the red and loud. I can clearly hear everything so it isn’t a super problem but is clearly louder than the TWIT stuff I also listen too.
You asked for feedback about the sound level in the podcasts. I subscribe to about 4-5 different sources and I find the LQ podcast to be the quietest of all the ones I get. Not impossible to hear, but definately on the quiet side.
Content is always interesting which is much more important that the volume!
Thanks for the feedback. We have been continually adjusting settings based on feedback coming in.
